Reviews for
Ladybugs and Fireflies
by Cheryl Alldredge
Ladybugs and
Fireflies is now one of my new favorite reads for 2011.
Callie Roberts and Taylor Powers are two strong people who are in no
way looking to start a relationship as they both lead very busy
lives and their work basically takes up every waking moment! However
fate has a sense of timing that these two people cannot ignore and
when Taylor walks into the local watering hole and Callie turns
around and sees him they are both lost from that moment on...
Ironically when Callie and Taylor meet they do not exchange
information about their chosen professions of Private Investigator
in Callie's case and Lawyer in Taylor's... This causes some problems
later on and almost makes the relationship a total bust!
Happily their love is strong enough to withstand the
misunderstandings and after a few more kinks are ironed out the
story ends on a high note with a very romantic and well deserved HEA
for the pair...
This book is a wonderful example of how two people who have been
damaged by past relationships can find the one person who can heal
their hurts and give them joy when they least expect to find it!
At a little less than 150 pages this novella reads like a longer
story, the characters are well fleshed out and the plot lines are
truly interesting and engage the readers imagination. You have to
get your own copy to fully appreciate what I mean without my giving
anything away so as not to spoil the story for anyone else...
I fell in love with feisty Callie and sexy Taylor and you will too,
run out and buy a copy as the book is great summer reading!
